Elizabeth A. Phibbs, Executive Director
Beth Phibbs is a dedicated champion of public education whose career spans from elementary teaching to executive leadership in South Carolina's education sector. After serving as Program Manager for Junior Achievement of Central South Carolina, she joined the South Carolina Department of Education, where worked in the Office of School Leadership and directed the School Leadership Executive Institute's Developing Aspiring Principals program. In 2006, she became Director of Governmental Affairs at the South Carolina Association of School Administrators (SCASA), advancing to Executive Director in 2015 and serving in that role through 2024. Her notable achievements as SCASA Executive Director include establishing the Center for Executive Education Leadership (CEEL), securing a permeant facility for SCASA and CEEL, creating the SC Foundation for Educational Leadership Gala, and founding the South Carolina Educator Hall of Fame. In July of 2024, Beth began in her current role with the SC Foundation for Educational Leadership.
